Carara
Carara National Park is a must for anyone interested in tropical biology. Its high species diversity and ease of access make this a worthwhile trip from Puntarenas or San José. The 4,700 ha. Carara Biological Reserve occupies a unique position at the transition zone between tropical moist forest and tropical wet forest in the Pacific lowlands.
The Tour:
Leaving from Puntarenas, the tour satisfied the follow four stages:
1. La Roca: is one of the natural viewpoints more beautiful of the Gulf of Nicoya, where part of the coast of the sea Pacific is appraised,and where we will be able to observe great variety of animals.
2. El Tunel: is a place where it is possible to be admired bats in its natural atmosphere.
3. Rio Tárcoles: famous to count with great amount of immense crocodiles that get to weigh three hundred pounds.
4. Carara: final destiny of the tour, we will take them to a place whose experience never will forget, where will find several attractive popular ones of the moment, as they are them the Canopy, Sky Way, Safari in the jungle and other attractions; each one of these attractiveness has an additional cost by aside.

Sarchí
Located approximately 1 hour from San José and 1.2 hrs from Puntarenas, the picturesque village of Sarchí is the cradle of wood crafting and decorating in Costa Rica, particularly known for its production of colorful ox-carts.
Popular with both Costa Ricans and tourists alike, excursions to Sarchi often coincide with tours to the neighboring Poas and Barva volcanoes, both agriculturally fertile areas rich with black volcanic earth.
The Tour:
Leaving from Puntarenas, the tour satisfied the follow three stages:
1. El Jardín: located to the height of the inter-American highway, to few kilometers of San Ramón downtown. In this place they will be able to observe beautiful blue butterflies, birds, some snikes, toucans and a wonderful garden that the zone characterizes.
2. Sarchí: we will see an extensive plantation of coffee throughout the way, as well as a factory of carts (ox-cart), and precious stores of souvenir.
3. Greece: this place offers one to us of the most attractive churches of the world, in its totality the outer structure is constructed of metal.
Optionally, we will enjoy a delicious typical lunch. Make as many stops as you wish!!!

San
José
This cosmopolitan capital has a large assortment of museums and cultural sights - including the famous National Theatre built in 1897. There are numerous international restaurants and cafes. Set on a high plateau, San Jose is surrounded by three of Costa Rica's most famous volcanoes, Irazu, Turrialba and Poas.
The Tour:
Leaving from Puntarenas, the tour satisfied the follow four stages:
1. El Jardín: located to the height of the inter-American highway, to few kilometers of San Ramón downtown. In this place they will be able to observe beautiful blue butterflies, birds, some snikes, toucans and a wonderful garden that the zone characterizes.
2. Sarchí: we will see an extensive plantation of coffee throughout the way, as well as a factory of carts (ox-cart), and precious stores of souvenir.
3. Greece: this place offers one to us of the most attractive churches of the world, in its totality the outer structure is constructed of metal.
4. San José: final destiny of tour, we will visit our historical patrimonies, for example: the national museum, the national theater, the cathedral and we will give a stroll by the boulevard.

Poás
Volcano
The National Park Poás Volcano is on the Central Volcanic Mountain range, 37 km to the north of the city of Alajuela. Poás Volcano is one of the most spectacular volcanos of the country and extraordinary scenic beauty. It has several types of habitats like the stocky forest, areas without little vegetation, the area of arrayanes and the cloudy forest. In this last type of forest, the epífitas plants like mosses, ferns, bromelias and orquídeas abound that grow on the trunks of the trees.

1. El Jardín: located to the height of the inter-American highway, to few kilometers of San Ramón downtown. In this place they will be able to observe beautiful blue butterflies, birds, some snikes, toucans and a wonderful garden that the zone characterizes.

4. Poás Volcano: we will pass by small and beautiful towns until arriving at a peak altitude of eight thousand four hundred feet, in the top of the Volcano from where we will be able to observe all the valley and we will enjoy innolvidable a little while next to the nature.

Monte Verde
Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve was founded by a group of Quakers from the United States in 1954.
It is located in the northern plains. Importance: The Monteverde area in Costa Rica is world famous for its cloud forest.
There are now two reserves, the original Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and the new Santa Elena Rain Forest. In these forests you can enjoy the cloud forest climate and hike the trails amongst the varieties of plants and magnificent epiphytic laden trees, there have been over 450 bird species seen in the Monteverde area. The native birds are joined at certain time of the year by those which migrate through from North America. The resplendent quetzals with their long tails feed at various locations in the area and one can at times hear the "bong" of the bell birds. These areas sit astride the continental divide at an altitude a bit above 5000 feet. They protect and provide habitat for hundreds of species of plants and animals.
